VINTAGE: 2015 was another great vintage, despite the drought; a mild winter and spring caused an early bud break. The season began and
concluded early, a very warm summer yielded a very small crop and most vineyards only delivered 50-60% compared to the norm.
TASTING NOTES: Built around a rich core of dark cherry, cassis and dried berries, the 2015 vintage from Stagecoach also reveals complex layers
of cocoa powder, tobacco and cinnamon. The intensity and depth of flavor is matched by heaps of sturdy hillside tannins. A big, bold but also smooth Napa Mountain Cab.
AGING: 28 months in new Bossuet and Vicard French oak barrels. This
mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is big, complex, rustic, perfectly balanced and will age beautifully. Drink now, but decanter for 30-45 minutes or age through 2019-2037.
