Beskrivelse
2022 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley
Our 2022 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is a marriage of terroir between
our two estates, Flânerie Vineyard in the Ribbon Ridge AVA and La Belle
Promenade Vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains AVA. A myriad of different
fermentation techniques were used with 30% whole cluster fermentation. This
wine underwent a native yeast and then spontaneous malolactic fermentation
in 33% new French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
Aromas showcase abundant cherry, roasted strawberry, red licorice, and
baking spices. Lively flavors of Bing cherry, late-summer strawberry, herbs de
Provence, and cardamom are framed by outstanding freshness. Medium-plus
acidity and supple tannins add to the depth and elegance of this wine, built to
enjoy now or in years to come.

Vineyard blend
La Belle Promenade Vineyard; French for “The Beautiful Walk”
Telling the story of the orchard fruits that once grew on the land, La Belle Promenade Vineyard
is rooted in volcanic soils and creates wines with floral notes that cling to acidity and sing of the
bright, high tones that ripple through the Chehalem Mountains AVA. Established in 2014 at
700’-820’ in elevation.
Flânerie Vineyard; French for “Aimless or Idly Wandering. The Walk of the Flâneur”
Located in the Ribbon Ridge AVA, Flânerie’s warmer micro-climate paired with sedimentary
soils creates a spicy dark red fruit character for savory wines that are bold, like steady bass notes.
Established in 2003 at 250’-350’ in elevation.
